Stephanie M. Barfield commits her real estate law insight to The Terry Law Firm, PLLC, with a dedication to client service. Stephanie began her legal career as a litigator before transitioning to transactional law more than five years ago.

While still in law school, Stephanie pursued a real estate broker’s license.  This has given her additional perspective on the process of buying, selling, and financing real estate. After becoming licensed in the State of North Carolina as an Attorney, she pursued her South Carolina Bar license and is now practicing in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

Beginning with her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer, Stephanie has always felt a calling to help people. This led her to work as a Paraprofessional, Residential Counselor, and with our local Department of Social Services. Her dream came to fruition when she earned her J.D. in 2009. Stephanie is a Charlotte area native, having been raised in Indian Land, South Carolina. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling in order to appreciate various points of view, hiking, and exploring Charlotte’s local dining culture.
