William “Will” Kirk comes to The Terry Law Firm, PLLC with 18 years of legal experience as a transactional lawyer, a litigator and a counselor at law. Will is foremost a navigator and problem solver. He helps clients overcome obstacles to reach their goals while balancing legal options with practical concerns.
Prior to practicing law, Will attended The George Washington University and West Virginia University, and was graduated from The Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, in 1999. He is admitted to practice law in five states and numerous federal districts. He’s lived and practiced in Charlotte since 2006.
For the last 10 years, Will has advised and represented large financial institutions in the closing of commercial transactions. Whether they’re looking to defend and pursue interests in real property, to salvage defaulted loans or pursue claims through bankruptcy courts nationwide.
Today, Will focuses on commercial and residential real estate, business transactions and disputes, corporate formations and transitions, commercial lending and creditor-debtor disputes.
