Ginger W. Kurtz

Paralegal

Ginger Kurtz brings many years of real estate and legal experience to The Terry Law Firm, PLLC in her role as a Closing Paralegal. Beginning her career in the Real Estate industry in 1978 at Home Federal Savings and Loan, Ginger went to The Real Estate Lending Division at what was then NCNB. After rising to the position Assistant Vice-President, she shifted her focus to her family and raising her two children.

Ginger re-entered the workforce in 2001 with Parham, Helms, & Harris, working there as a Paralegal for more than 10 years. She then joined McMillan & Terry in their Relocation Department and then for attorney R. Dale Fussell working on the Housing & Urban Development contract. Ginger reunited with her former colleagues and Dan Terry in 2015.

Ginger was raised in Florida, but she and her twin sister were born in Durham at Duke University hospital. She graduated from Florida State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Business. She and her late husband Rick Kurtz have two children, son Spencer and daughter Mary Ellen. Both reside in Charlotte along with daughter-in-law Deanna Kurtz. Step-son Steven Kurtz and his wife Kyley and their children Aletta and Lily all live in the Raleigh area.

Interest include yard work and gardening, hiking, reading and taking care of dog Maya. She volunteers at her church, Christ Episcopal in Charlotte. One of her “dream trips” is to visit all of the National Parks in the United States.
